Copenhagen. My happy place. Highlights of my stay: coffee and cake at the Royal Smushi Cafe; meeting friends at the Laundromat Cafe on Elmegade for brunch; shopping along Gammel Kongevej and stopping for a chai latte at Ipsen & Co; seeing my wonderful and very missed Danish family; exploring one of my favourite streets, Værnedamsvej; and having an unbelievably delicious dinner at Nimb. Copenhagen is truly my second home. Even though it's been well over two years since I lived here, it feels as if I never left.
Copenhagen 2012
I lost and found myself in Copenhagen.
In less than a month, I'll be back in the city that changed my life. For better or for worse, everything changed as soon as I stepped into my apartment on Blegdamsvej on that cold and rainy day on January 21st, 2012.
I am unbelievably grateful to have had the opportunity to go on exchange and I urge anyone who has the chance, to go. I will never forget my six months in Copenhagen - even two years later, I still reminisce about the adventures I had and exploring the streets of this wonderful city.
