Fujifilm x She Does the City Photography Panel

On Sunday, November 19th I attended the Fujifilm x She Does the City Photography Panel at the Knix Loft on Claremont Street, where She Does the City was celebrating their 10th anniversary. Moderated by blogger Liza Feliza, the panel consisted of five talented and diverse Toronto-based female photographers: Scarlet O'Neil, Kael Rebick, Solana Cain, Danielle Reynolds, and Becca Lemire. With a combined resume spanning photojournalism, travel, event, wedding, and product photography, these successful women offered valuable insight into choosing photography as a career, each providing unique perspectives on their relationship with their chosen craft. As an aspiring photographer, this event left me feeling both inspired and excited to take the next steps in my photography career.

Andrews' Scenic Acres

On the first day of October, Amanda and I made our way to Andrews' Scenic Acres, one of the GTA's hidden gems. This farm is best known for its "pick-your-own" activity, where guests are invited to explore the vast farm fields and choose their own seasonal produce: strawberries and rhubarb in the spring, currants and gooseberries in the summer, and pumpkins, apples, and flowers in the fall. We luckily caught the tail end of dahlia season, and the farmlands were bursting with colourful flowers as far as the eye could see. I am so happy we found this magical place.
