Florine Stettheimer

Florine Stettheimer was a female American painter and poet from the early 20th century. Born and raised in New York City, she flourished during the Jazz Age, with her colourful paintings speaking to the lavish, epicurean lifestyle she so greatly lived. December's AGO Next event featured Stettheimer's new show at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Painting Poetryand provided insight on the concept and creation of an art exhibition. On until January 28th, I highly recommend a visit to view Florine's modern and emotive work.
