I said goodbye to 2017 with a quick trip to Ancaster and Hamilton to photograph the region's frozen waterfalls. It seems as if the whole of Canada has entered an ice age, with temperatures across the country reaching all-time record lows. I hope everyone has a safe and warm New Year's Eve!
Evergreen Brickworks Winter Village
Christmas may be over, but the city continues to embrace the holiday spirit. Recently I stopped by Evergreen Brickworks to visit the Winter Village before it's close at the end of the year. Despite the freezing temperatures in Toronto these past few days, my afternoon hike through the property was a lovely respite from the couch. Evergreen Brickworks is one of my favourite places in the city to photograph, as each season offers a new perspective - whether that be a different viewpoint or the changing foliage.
