Winter Fun

This past weekend I went dog sledding and snowshoeing in Moonstone, Ontario. Organized through Toronto Adventures, my friends and I were picked up bright and early on Saturday morning for an action-packed day of winter activities. Typically not one to venture too far outside this time of year, I felt like a true Canadian spending the day in the snow. We had so much fun hanging out with the huskies, snowshoeing through wintry trails, and dog sledding, each of us for the first time. By far one of the best ways to spend a snowy Saturday in January.

Allan Gardens Conservatory

I recently spent a cold January afternoon in Allan Gardens with my good friend Lauren, who has finally returned home from her travels in Oceania. The Conservatory's lush foliage and exotic greens make it a perfect place to seek refuge during Toronto's long winter months.
