Last summer my mum, sister, and I took a girls trip to Chicago for the weekend. It was our first time visiting the city and we fell in love. The shopping, the food, the waterfront, the stunning architecture and public spaces - it's a picture perfect metropolis. My favourite part of the trip however, was finally getting the opportunity to fully experience Lurie Gardens. Designed by the talented landscape designer Piet Oudolf, Lurie Gardens is a serene oasis in the centre of Millennium Park. It is a landscape architect's dream.
