Winter in Toronto

Although this past winter was long and stubborn, I managed to find some cool stuff to do in Toronto:

The Jean-Michel Basquiat: Now's the Time exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario was phenomenal. I highly recommend checking it out, followed by a walk through Frank Gehry's Galleria Italia.

Her Majesty's Pleasure, a new salon and cafe concept in Toronto's King West neighbourhood. I loved the copper barstools by Blu Dot.

Interior details at the new Dark Horse Espresso Bar in Riverside. A great space in the east end for getting stuff done.

Autumn in Toronto

Autumn in this city is magical.

Here are some scenes from life in Toronto over the past few months:

Exploring this year's Nuit Blanche.

Lots of time spent in Kensington Market, one of my favourite Toronto neighbourhoods.

A little taste of Scandinavia in Toronto, Fika is a Swedish cafe in the heart of Kensington. The cardamom lattes are delicious.

A late Sunday afternoon in the Distillery District.

A pop-up farmers' market on the corner of Queen and Crawford.
