Even during the coldest of winters, there is always an influx of outdoor activities in Toronto. Events like the Toronto Christmas Market, the Bentway Skate Trail, Winter Stations, and the Toronto Light Festival are great opportunities to brave the cold like a true Canadian and enjoy the outdoors, even when temperatures reach all-time lows. After a delicious lunch at the newly-opened General Assembly Pizza, my friends and I headed over to the Distillery District to check out this year's installations at the Toronto Light Festival. The Light Festival provides an entirely new perspective of one of Toronto's most popular neighbourhoods by featuring interactive works by artists from around the world. Be sure to check it out before it wraps up on March 4.
